AUDITIONS / LUNA DANCE COMPANY
Audition for LUNA.
LUNA dancers are technically grounded, curious artists who bring discipline, generosity, and imagination into every room. We are looking for people who want to help shape the future of professional dance in Lancaster County.
THE WEIGHT OF THE WORK
Set the standard. Share the support.
These are artists I trust to influence our region. Your work in rehearsal, on stage, and in the community helps set the standard for what professional dance can be here. You will be part of a company whose choices have a real impact on Lancaster County and whose success is shared by the people around us.
You also carry the immense support of the broader dance world—a community of artists and mentors rooting for LUNA, encouraging us to keep going, and reminding us that this work belongs in Lancaster.
WHAT IS A LUNA DANCER?
A dancer who makes the room stronger.
A LUNA dancer is an artist I can trust: someone with a strong technical foundation, a hunger to keep learning, and the generosity to make the work, the people, and the larger purpose of the company the center of the room. That means showing up prepared, staying open, and taking responsibility for the quality of every rehearsal, performance, and community experience.
WHAT WE EXPECT
Bring your technique. Bring your whole self.
01
Technical foundation
Technically proficient in ballet and modern or contemporary technique, with the discipline to keep developing.
02
Ready to sharpen
Looks for opportunities to train and welcomes challenge through technique classes, personal feedback, and coaching.
A generous collaborator
Contributes to the working environment of rehearsals and performances with focus, reliability, and care.
04
An others mindset
Puts the work and the collaboration at the center of the room, rather than making the individual the focus.
05
Part of the whole
Willing to contribute to the company and to the wider dance ecosystem we are building in this region.
